Wiggle
Duration:
6 Months
Role:
UX/UI Designer
Wiggle is a nightlife planner app that shows a user nearby events and clubs. It’s getting a good reponse from among the GenZ users.
I also designed a backend panel that we integrate it to the clubs that uses a qr based code system that enables the user to join the event. It’s soon getting a good funding. I was the only designer who worked on this project.
Initially i was hired to design the app. Afterwards i designed their CRM for both the company and clubs.

Lina Andersson
Lina Andersson is a 23-year-old university student living in Stockholm, Sweden. Social, adventurous, and always up for a good time, she loves exploring new clubs and attending local events with her friends. As someone who’s tech-savvy and active on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Spotify, Lina expects digital experiences to be seamless and visually engaging. She often feels frustrated switching between different apps to find events, navigate locations, and meet new people. She also finds most nightlife apps outdated and unreliable. Wiggle solves these problems by offering Lina a one-stop nightlife hub where she can explore venues in 3D, discover verified events in real time, and connect with like-minded people—all within one vibrant, Gen Z-friendly platform.

- Meet new people and expand her social circle through shared experiences
Pain Points:
- DHas to use multiple apps to plan a night out (events, maps, messaging)
- Often unsure if events are up-to-date or actually happening
Frustration:
- Existing nightlife apps feel outdated, clunky, or not designed for her lifestyle
- Lack of transparency and poor user experience when exploring new venues
Motivation:
- Loves being part of the local scene and finding the “next big thing
- Enjoys spontaneous nights out that lead to memorable connections

Conclusions & Final Thoughts
Designing Wiggle was an exciting challenge that pushed me to blend functionality with bold, Gen Z-centric aesthetics. From initial research to final rollout, the process taught me the value of deeply understanding user behavior—especially when designing for a social, experience-driven audience. Collaborating closely with developers also reinforced the importance of aligning design with technical feasibility early on.
The app received positive early feedback, with strong engagement around the 3D club explorer and social matching features. We saw a 20% higher retention rate compared to similar nightlife apps during the MVP phase, and several clubs adopted the CRM system within the first month.
Overall, Wiggle proved how thoughtful design—rooted in real user needs—can turn an ordinary concept into a compelling experience. This project strengthened my belief in research-driven design, and I’m excited to see where Wiggle goes next.
